UK Turbo Acceleration Problem

Hi,
I have an RX8 with a Greddy Turbo and all the ancillaries fitted. Just the last few days I have noticed a problem when accelerating, there is a split second when there is nothing the it comes back in with a bang, when accelerating gently it does not occur, any ideas would be a great help. Thanks

Is it tuned? If so, with what. Stock injectors?

You thinking SSV might be sticking or something like that?

That... or the tuning\tuner\pcm doesn't deal with the transitions very well.

Tune is everything...although certain things will make it a lot more difficult.

Injector sizes is one of the ones that really makes the transitions more difficult to tune..as is MAF position and intake tube diameter

Sometimes little things make for really strange intermittant problems that only pop up under certain load/temp/sun moon and stars type situations

This has always been one of my major beefs with the flash tuning options that we have. We can make them really close..but there are places we can't touch because of their limitations...

I agree. The only problem I see with going with a standalone pcm is that ECUs that offer the same level of accuracy of the stock pcm while still being MAF based cost more than the car's worth. Definitely not an option for most people.
