Tune Needed???

Does anyone have high flow intake + headers + catback exhaust WITHOUT a re-tune and running problem free?

I was running the high flow intake and the greddy catback exhuast with no issues, but as soon as I had the RB headers installed I've had the P0411 DTC ever since. I'm curious if a re-tune is needed at this stage of modifacation or if it's possible something might have been installed incorrectly. I havent had much time to take anything apart to troubleshoot, but it appears everything is securly attached regarding the secondary air injection equip.

I've done quite a bit of searching on this issue and I've read several board members experienced the same problem after the header install but I've yet to find a resolution. If anyone has experienced this and found a fix please fill me in. It's been a pain in my *** for almost a year now....and an inspection is needed in a few months.

you shouldn't need a retune with those mods.

I have the AEM intake, Racing Beat Header, RP Supercat, and Racing Beat catcback with no issues.
My accessPORT had issues last year so I had to uninstall it completely (reverted back to OEM mazda map) and drove my car around like that with ZERO problems.
You should look into what that CEL is. (we have a sticky with all the codes listed)

The P0411 CEL references secondary air injection, unexpected flow detected.... or something to that affect. The pump seems to be working fine and the pipe connected to the headers seems to be firmly attached.

Jedi, did you ever re-install your aftermarket plumbing back on? What problems did you have with the accessport?

I never took my mods off.
The AP was not allowing me to update it, I had to send it back to Cobb to have them troubleshoot / update the software so I was without an AP for a few weeks.

The only reason I mentioned it is because I didn't want people to think I hadn't tried to run those mods successfully WITHOUT an AP.

Oh, I understand Jedi. So at least one works, that's a little depressing. Still, if anyone has any suggestions on a possible fix chime in.
