Trying to bleed my clutch
Buddy and I are trying to bleed my clutch without a speed bleeder. I've been reading the DIYs but it isn't working. Clutch is staying in the floor no matter what I do. Pedal is depressed, open valve, nothing comes out. Close valve, pull clutch up and depress again. Open valve, nothing comes out. Makes no difference if we pump clutch with valve closed then open it. Only time anything comes out of the valve is if I open the valve with the clutch up and close it once it hits the bottom. Is that what I'm supposed to do? I'm not clear on what to do, these DIYs give different instructions
I've been searching and searching but I can't find anything that helps. I really need help guys, I don't know what to do. Thanks in advance

First, close the valve. Pump the clutch at least five times making sure the pedal comes all the way up, using your hand if you have too. Then have your friend hold the pedal to the floor, and then open the valve for a lttle bit, and then close it. Once the valve has beena open, the pedal will stay in the floor until it is pumped several times. Repeat this a couple times until you feel it has been bled and you have gotten all the air out if the line.

Are you sure you are closing the valve all the way? It's in a bad spot that's for sure.
Are tou able to pump it until the pedal will stay up?
