can you define "overheating"? how much, how fast, what temp, how long it takes to cool, etc... all help point towards what component.

A/C going hot/cold (other than you set it anyway), is a known issue with the temp control **** where the solder joint on the back of the **** comes loose, and it looses the ability to tell what the **** is set to. If you are in bumper to bumper warranty, you can get it fixed for free. If not, there is a fairly involved DIY on fixing it yourself. Dealer cost varies by area.

overheating

at low speeds in traffic and long lights above 83 degrees outside temperature. Temp gauge starts to climb above mid way, have to turn on heat to cool off. cools down below half way in about 10 to 30 seconds

Check your thermostat.

The AT's only have one oil cooler that is the problem.

Agreed. Thermostat.

Mazmart sells an upgraded thermostat for $65, superior to OEM.

Could be an airflow problem, check your fans.
