Hi guys,

I was at a track day over the weekend and half way though the day i noticed the clutch going funny. The biting point was alot higher and it was taking a few attempts to get the car into 1st or reverse, the other gears it was fine - even at high RPM.

What do you suggest it is? the car has a ACT 6 puck clutch and a recent gearbox fluid change.

start simple-check fluid and check the clutch pedal. they are known to break

 

Bleeding the clutch system would seem appropriate. Also, check the peddle assembly for flex/broken welds.

 

I'll do both those things next time I'm with the car and I'll update you all.

As the others said. Bleed the clutch line and check the pedal bracket. I had the same problems for a few weeks. Then my slave cylinder failed. I'd say bleed first if the problems persist replace the slave.
