Something wrong with motor?

Hey all I just got my 8 a few weeks back. When it is idleing it is doing normal Idle then every like 5 secs or so it dips idle about 200-300 rpm briefly then goes back to normal. My first Rotary so I dont know if this is normal or what, still doing research. Car has 58k miles and is a 06. Only mods are Greddy Catback. Thanks in advance. Im having a full inspection on the car done soon just have to find a good shop in the Bay Area.

ummmmm ok
@jayscoobs .... dude you need to search ... this forum will rip you a new one if you don't.

I'm feeling nice this morning (i'm still drunk)

So first question is ... Auto or Manual
Second is ... does this happen only when the air condition is on (or defrost)?

My car does the same thing, and its likely due to low compression (in my case)

Things to look at for you(in no particular order):
- Plugs
- Coils
- MAF Cleaning
- Compression test
- Seafoam De-Carbon
- Dirty Eccentric Shaft Sensor

That should give you enough to start looking in to and start searching

Could be your clutch interlock switch.....it will cause a hunting idle if it's gone.....kinda goes rhythmically up and down about 2-300 rpm's Usually up though....so if its normal and below it's likely something else

Did you preform a tune up or do you have proof it was tuned before you bought it.

Have you tried screaming at it?
That always seems to make mine idle better.
