Screw Clamps vs Spring Clamps?

My usual Monday morning checks revealed coolant weeping from the hose end where the coolant meets the engine block (immediate left side if you're standing in front of the engine). There was a small puddle of coolant on the floor as well.

Got it fixed anyway. Noticed Mazda uses mostly, if not all, spring clamps for the hoses instead of screw clamps. What are the advantages of one over the other?

Umm, just for those who have no idea what component I'm talking about:

the screw type can eat into the hose. As it compresses, due to the screw part, there's holes in the metal, which compress differently than the solid metal areas. This can cause the hose to rip and tear.

I don't know if it'll matter or not, because issues will be based on the type of hose and what's going through it. I have screw clamps to hold on the racing beat coolant sensor.

I prefer t-bolt clamps over the two you mentioned. The issue with them is cost, and the fact that they need to be properly sized, because they have a narrow diameter that can be held.
