rx8 head unit skipping all the sudden on clean CDrs???

all the sudden i have been having cdrs skipping for no reason....these cds were in the changer the whole time and sometimes i just listened through them in the past hour....then i may stop the car and do something....when i come back they start skipping on songs i listened to just before totally fine. my car goes in thurs for some other little problems and im going to mention it.....but this sucks....obviously the head unit isnt so hot and its not like i can add a new head unit cause of that damn dash set up. or could it just be the CDrs im using....can they all the sudden start skipping?? can cdrs go bad in time...cuz the cd s have been in there a better part of the month. eh i dunno just really pisses me off ya know. but for now ill just burn a new cdr...and thats another thing...its not like i can listen to the original CDs cuz i have my whole music collection on my computer as mp3s.....years and years of music.

First thing I will say, BUY A FEW MORE ORIGINAL CDs GOD DAMN IT !!!!

Ok, sometimes CD-Rs can go bad w/o a word. So u might just as well burn new ones.

The Bose head unit is very touchy even with manufactured CDs.

Not very impressed with it.

I love the way the whole CD/Radio unit looks in this car, but it's really annoying how unfriendly it is to customize with non-Mazda audio equipment.

Unrelated, who the hell wants a $500 cassette player installed in an RX8?

Very true, I think Mazda should make an option to install aftermarket stereo systems and not make it such a chore to upgrade head units or even add preouts from the stock head unit would suffice.

I can't believe the Bose CD players can't display CD-Text, it would be real nice if I didn't have to guess which CD was in each slot.
