problem: won't accelerate
strangest thing happened to me today. so here's what happened
1) went to shell to get gas and popped in 6oz. premix
2) went to get something to eat. floored the car to redline
3) came to the light and had the cel on and idle was around 2500.
--the car doesn't want to rev, and even if it did it only gave me +200 rpm. and it really seemed to me like a sticking throttle(weird). the car seemed to have lost all power.
i tried everything to get the car cooler as temps were both at/near 220 deg.
anyone had this problem? it wasn't like it was possible to grab the codes for the cel at the moment. even if i can, where is the short connector located on this car to retrieve it?
well, lucky to say the least, after an hour i just gave up and pulled the positive cable off and cleared the ecu memory. it worked surprisingly, and the car drove perfectly normal after. what could it have been? good thing it wasn't a hard malfunction code.

the cel and problems went away after pulling the battery cables.
i wouldn't want this to happen to me again as the car's problem was so severe that i would've been able to outrun the car on foot.
anyone have a clue what went wrong???
i don't think i did anything wrong on my part, except goin on a few short trips earlier this morning.
