2nd Gear Syncro shot
Well, I'm well a truly out of warranty, and my 2nd gear syncro seems to be completely shot. I have to be REALLY deliberate on up shifts to 2, and have miraculous timing on the downshifts.
Are there any tranny rebuild kits on the market yet, preferably with upgraded synchronizer cones? I heal-toe, but getting that perfect match is still beyond me most times, especially when I'm out playing.
Why the hell didn't the engineers bind and gag the accountants who obviously told them to use the same cones for 2nd gear that they used in all the others. It's a sports car, for adrenaline's sake, 2nd gear gets used, A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, my clutch pedal bracket is fine, that and the Master Cylinder lash were the first things I checked. There was a bit more free-play than I care for, but dialing that out had virtually no effect. For now, I'm double-clutching. I'm sure it's easier on the transmission, but since it's not habit yet, it's a lot tougher on me. Kinda scary to dive into a corner and have to THINK about my downshift.
