Power Steering out after amp install ???

Exclamation Power Steering out after amp install ???

The power steering light is on and the car turns like it has no power steering how could the amp I was installing change my steering? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Electric power steering....could be wiring? fuse?? Check the usual steering issues..and then check all the things you worked on....

Not likely a coincidence

Checked the connectors nothings loose the fuse is good. I unhooked everything i did except for the high level speaker wires running to the amp I installed. Still no change.

Update!!! I disconnected the High Level inputs from what i thought was the rear speakers now I have power steering!!! Ha. Now all i have to do is figure out what the hell i did wrong in the first place??!!

Bose. I don't understand how connecting high level inputs for my amp would affect the power steering, at least it works now.

Look at the wiring diagram it may be a clue. Glad you found the problem.

Did you turn/rotate the amp? I'll bet it turns real easy!
