P0443 anyone?

Hey guys. I hate to start a thread about a single thing like this but after hours of searching I can't find any hard facts on this CEL. My 8 just threw it a few hours ago and I thought it was the cat CEL it was throwing so I deleted it. As I deleted it I realized it wasn't the cat CEL...too late.

Anyways, unlike every other CEL I've had to date this one came right back on..Almost immediately.

If anyone knows anything, that would be awesome.

Going back to combing through the interwebs for any information on this booger.

Found this too

Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Control Valve circuit malfunction
OBD-II Trouble Code: P0443 Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Control Valve Circuit

From what I read so far seems like the best case scenario is to hope for a bad connection on the solenoid worst case is to replace the solenoid or the PCM circuitry might be shoot

Goodluck

I feel like an idiot. Within 5 minutes of looking under my hood with the headlamp I realized I left a connector unplugged. I'm going to go put it through two drive cycles to see if it comes back. I'll report the findings. Might help someone who has a dummy moment like I just did?

And thanks again man, I really appreciate it.

Yeah, it was that connector thingy. It's the one right next to the oil filler neck. I'm an idiot.
