No start - not even cranking

Hi

I had just got my starter and plugs replaced (flooded)... now everytime i try to start my car, it won't start - it doesn't even crank... i have to turn the key back wait a few secs, try it again ... after 3-4 tries it starts up. This seems to be happening everytime - anyone else experience this???

You need to give more info on your car. Is it a MT or AT? Do the interior lights come on when you open the door? Does the radio and gauges come on when you turn the key on?

Dude your battery is wasted! You need to re-charge it or replace it with a new one.
My guess is that you drive alot of short distances?

Could be different things based on the symptom. The first that comes to mind is the starter solenoid and/or the wiring connections to the solenoid.

Well, I guess I'll bite and point out the obvious. This ain't normal. The shop replaced the starter and now the car intemittently will not crank. DUH! Take it back to the shop, 'cause they probably didn't do the job correctly. There, I said it.
