CA New Built Engine Stalling

So I installed my newly built engine, it has 120 +/- psi on each face (piston Compression tester). It starts right up when its cold, when it warms up and i rev it up it stalls immediately. I then try to start it back up and it will fire right up, but stalls immediately. If i give it some gas It will not stall, I can keep it at 1k and it is purry perfectly. As soon as i let go of the throttle, it stalls immediately....any advice? I have brand new coils (ebay) and new spark plugs. I am going to be removing the throttle body and check all my connections this weekend.

Anything I should be looking for??

Thank you.

Vacuum leak is my first guess. Did you clock the APV gear properly when you installed the lower intake manifold? 6 speed or auto?

This is a 6 speed. I also noticed from my little video on my first turn on that the car was idling at 1k on a cold engine....Im guessing its a vacuum leak as well. I dont think i did clock it... is there a how to clock it??

Thanks 9k

The magnet (I think its a magnet but you will know what I mean) on the gear should be pointed at the 1 O'clock position. jet air hose hooked up? oil injector feed hose hooked up? two service nipples on the lower intake manifold capped? VFAD nipple capped or hose connected? hose and check valve for the actuators on the the rear of the upper intake manifold connected? Smell any fuel?

nope I dont smell any fuel at all.... I have an extra lower intake Manifold. Im going to practice clocking it. I did remove the APV to make sure it was not stuck before I put it on the engine... I really think its going to be the clocking your talking about. It should idle at above 2k and its not, its idling at 1k when cold. The APV does control idle??correct??

There is not smoke either, I plugged in my scanner and it gave me a lean code. The check engine light has not come on though. Im going to also clean the MAF.

No they APV's do not control idle, but if they are not clocked right they could cause problems because they are supposed to be closed at idle.

I removed the apv and it was clocked. I replaced it apv with a known working one. I also tightened the lim a bit more, i removed the intake manifold and inspected everything.. i tightened it all down, i also did another compression test, just to make sure and results are great. I removed the throttle body and it seemed like the gasket was worn down. I replaced it with a new one and installed a known good throttle body. I made sure the spark plugs wires were in their correct places. Turn the car on and let it warm up....it idles beautifully now. I can rev it it drops to idles. Thank you 9k!
