Exclamation Help Me!1 First time rotary owner!!

I just purchased a 2004 rx-8 in black/black and red leather! I love this car, but what is the deal with adding oil all the time. Every 2 fill ups? how much are you really putting in? I checked the level on the dip stick and it was low... but my pressure gauge reads perfectly between L and H. does this gauge not accurately read the level as well or am I missing something. The salesman also said that I need to let the car run for a minute when I am done driving! Is this all the time, or just when I am beating on it. I live in florida and it gets very hot. what should I do!

ok... basic questions

check oil every two fill ups. if its low, just fill a lil till its normal. The gauge does not measure accurately. You only turn off when the car is warmed up, simple as that. you don't have to run it one minute after you drive, just make sure its warm before you turn off.
