Fault coedes. Who can tell me what they means?
Hi guys,
just got the OBD key working for the RX8. Got it from England. Finally got it plugged it into the car. And i got thsese 2 error codes.
1. UC 073
2. Po 301. ( misfire in clynder1.
The car have no mods other than the air intake system which is the rotary extreme sysem. Can anybody tell me what these codes means and what i should do? The car is 2004 and its done under 10k km. Thanks in advance for the help.

read the stickies. Specifically this one that has been there for 4 years

actually nearly 5 years
what "obd key" do you have?
check plugs coils and wires

thanks for the input. will try to check the plugs later on this week. Then will go on the week will then check the coils Its very unlikely to get problems with the coils taken into considerations that the cars has done under 10 km.
Theres no power drop across the rpm range and theres no backfiring sound coming from the exhaust though

Ok I have read the DIY section for the front spark plugs. Im quite ok to do the front rotor. Few things.
1. o i need to change the whole set of spark plugs all together? Front and rear rotors? All 4 plugs? Or i can just change 1 or 2 which are shot? Ehich is the best way to do it?
2. If i buy a set of 2 plugs. Does it matter which spark plugs goes into the T or L hole? I know for the wiring it have to be watever is marked on the wires?
3. How do i check if the coils are buggered? Taking into consieration there was no power loss across the rpm range.
Lemme know. Thanks guys for the input.
