At least you didn't have popcorn flying out the tailpipe as you were driving down the road!

Freaking rats!! (Meaning any small furry type critter), but I've never heard of this one before. I guess that the plastic around the tail pipes gave the little guy a place to crawl into the exhaust. Congrats on getting it out of there, and I am going off to shake my head for while. Weird!

GO AHEAD AND GET IT CHECKED OUT!.....if not you will be on the same boat as I am. went to the dealer to get mine fixed and they said I needed a new engine. Be careful though...They will try and stick you with the bill like they are doing it to me.....

Tried to search but could not find a spot on thread for my issue. I have an 04 with about 100k miles on it, and I believe I have a cracked block!! The oil is watery with brown foam on the dipstick. What caused me to check was hard starts (wants to die) plumes of white smoke/fog yesterday until warmed up, today also w/ th trail of plumes until warm. And loss of coolant. CEls are p0300 and p0302, until yesterday I thought plugs, wires, coils, and possibly cat, now it looks like block. Questions are how much will it cost to repair, and am I doing damage driving it this way. once it warms up it is fine, hard to start but a little additional gas works fine to start it. Thaks in advance.
