Arrow CEL Flash.....

Good Afternoon ... Well, Bad Afternoon actually.

I drove my car at about 1am this morning its been parked on level ground in my apartment parking spot... I went outside today to drive down the street and this is what I got:

The Engine Idled up to about 1300 RPM car had horrible shake to it the CEL started to flash car Idled down to 800 RPM and then... I shut it off becuase once that CEL flashed i knew my life was over as i knew it.

Any Ideas to what it could be ??

A flashing CEL is an indicator of a misfire. Check your ignition components (eg sparks, wires & coils).
You didn't tell us the year of the car and how many miles.

Same thing happened to me... Replace your coils first. I guarantee that's your problem. Easy to do. If it still happens then you need plugs and wires, also easy to do. Start with the coils though.

Thats what it was.... As google stated and as everyone else thought. Coils.. Changed all four just to be safe, had to drain out my oil and litterally crank my car for about 15 minutes to burn all the flooded gas out of the engine.

But now. SHES ALIVE !!!

Oh and its an 04 with about 94,000 miles. Shes been feeling sick in her old age
