Angry Customer Service

HELLO EVERYONE, CAN ANYONE HELP ME REGARDING MY COMPLAINTS ON CUSTOMER SERVICE ISSUE? I JUST RECENTLY BOUGHT MY RX8 AND IT HAS ALL THESE SCRATCHES ON THE CAR AND CAR COVER ISSUES SO I TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THE DEALER (LONG BEACH) AND THEY SCRATCHED MY CAR UP AND THEY CLAIM THAT IT WAS ALREADY THERE WHICH IS BS. SO NOW THEY REFUSE TO TAKE CAR OF IT, IT'S GONNA COST $1300 TO PAINT THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR. I JUST NEED TO KNOW WHO I CAN TALK TO. PLEASE HELP!!!

First, please do not post messages in all caps. That is taken as shouting.

Try the following. Go back to the dealer, ask to talk to the General Manager and calmly and clearly explain this issue. If you get no satisfaction from him/her, contact Mazda North American Operations and explain your issue and the situation with the dealer. I believe that the phone number for MNAO is in your owners manual or one of the other documents that came with the car.

Unfortunately, this is apparently a "he said/she said" issue, so "proving" that the damage was caused by the dealership will be difficult, if not impossible. If the dealership is customer-service oriented, they will resolve your issue to your satisfaction. If they are not, and MNAO is of no help, you have no recourse but to pay for the repairs yourself or to pursue legal action. Good luck!
