Ok so heres another question for anyone...does the clutch pedal need to move specifically left or right for it to be the bracket? I have no movement left or right from the clutch pedal. There is just a little play in it now when I push it straight down, no movement to the left or right though.

When the pedal "snaps" as reported in the other threads, you do have a noticeable left-right play.
Maybe check the studs that mount the bracket and see if one is missing a nut.
Just trying to think of what else could create the noise you experienced while pressing the pedal.

Yea that's all it was, I pressed in the clutch to take the car out of gear and I heard the pop. Still goes into every gear fine but not when I try quick shifting. I took it on a back road and took off fast and trying to go into second gear real fast didn't happen. My personal opinion is maybe a nut got backed off a little considering the play I have in the clutch now and the feel of it going into gear. Not 100% sure though so wanted to get some other opinions.

There is a rod on the pedal assembly that inserts into the clutch line.
You can check to see if that is loose.

I'm not sure about this but, what about the bushing's around the clutch spring see if they are broken and if the spring is starting to dig through the bracket, if so that might be a cause of the noise. I will see tommorrow on mine to see if the noise is actually coming from where the spring digs into the bracket.
