So for the past couple days i have noticed i have been getting considerably low gas mileage and my car smelling like raw fuel when i get out after driving it. looked underneath and the driver side tank has fuel on the side of it. i took the rear seat out and looked at the fuel pump. a whole lot of gas sitting on top. it leaks where the line plugs into the nipple. all the seals are good and when i plug the line onto the nipple it clips in and is in there good with no play in any direction yet when i have the car on it is having a constant stream about the size of a single headphone wire. im am not sure anymore of what it could be. please help me with anything you can. i have searched and read other threads on fuel line issues but no longer give me any other options to address. i want to get this issue resolved as soon as possible because as of right now, i am no longer able to drive it and it is sitting in my driveway any help is appreciated.

 

Likely the nipple on the fuel pump assembly...a number of them have been known to crack and leak..
