brake service bulletin

i took my 8 in for the 4206 recall. i decided to take care of my squeaking brakes at the same time. they told me they would have to resurface the rotors to comply with the tsb. is this correct? i haven't seen anyone comment on this and i don't see anything in the tsb about this. i have a 2005 sport mt with approx 1000 miles. is it worth it to have this tsb done? what does this do to the lifespan of my rotors. thanks

The resurfacing allows the new pads to bed in properly. The rotors have lots of material in anticipation of this operation.
The TSB is worth it when the squeal bothers you enough.

thanks for the info DarkBrew. I did finally notice a note at the bottom of page 4 on the bulletin that says rotor machining cannot be claimed for this repair. I hope they don't try to charge me for this!
