Battery troubles.

Ok it's started to get cold down here in Texas. So recently my car has been dying at night and I have an Optima battery. So there is power drain coming from some where. Does anyone on here know how to spot the place that is draining engery? It dies at night evern if i start it before i go to bed.. But during the day it doesnt do that it just fine starting during the day. Which leads me to think it has something to do with the cold weather.... anyways HELP!

is the trunk closed all the way? I know this sounds silly but it's easy to accidentally pop the trunk, not notice it, and that darn light will drain a battery rather quickly.

How old is the battery, and what do you mean "car dies". Is the battery dead? Do any lights turn on? You need to jump the car? Might not have anything to do with your battery, could also be your starter

Have the battery charged and load tested before you start your diagnosis.
