Okay, so I take my car in for my first wheel balance and rotate and upon getting my car back it now pulls to the right. So instead of going back to the store that did my balance and rotation, I take my car to the dealer and have them check things out. They say no problem found. They did an alignment anyhow but said I only had a slight offset on the driver front but not enough to make a difference. So I get my car back and it is still pulling to the right. I mean even at 30mph it is drifting to the right. At highway speeds it dives to the right. At $272 a tire I damn sure don't want to buy tires prematurely.

So has anyone had this issue before? And if so what did you do to fix it? I have checked alignment, tire pressure and wheel balance. When I let go of the wheel it goes for about 50ft and then just pulls as if I am changing lanes. And I have never hit any potholes.

All I got out of it by going to the dealer is a big rock scratch on my passenger side rear door and a nice gouge in my grill from the trip over to the dealer.

Yep. Same problem here. Had them recheck it and they say it's within specification. It use to be straight as an arrow . Not sure what to do at this point.

Was this after you had your wheels balanced and/or rotated?

Have them put a weight in the driver's seat when they align it.

Dude you have a bad tire. I got into a wreck and never replaced my tire so my car pulls to the right big time. Just in time for new wheels and tires

Well, how will I get to dealer to acknowledge that? I took it to them and they said everything was just fine and not pulling.

Bad caliper by chance? I had a front caliper go bad on me once, it didn't want to release as it should have, and caused my car to pull.

Nah, didn't happen till Discount Tire rotated my wheels, now after the front/back swap it is pulling.

In that case, at least it should be "cheaper" to fix

Try swapping the tires back again. If the pulling goes away you know for sure you have a bad tire.

Go to discounttire take them for a spin in your 8 and explain what you are experiencing see what they say. I dont think your dealer will replace the tire but what the hell.

better yet swap them side-side and see if it pulls the other direction as a test

If you're gonna have the tires off might as well check em anyways. Could be that the old tires were worn to the extent that it all balanced out. Course it could just be a bad tire too. Regardless keep us posted.
