o4 rx8, less than 50 on the dash. Car is garaged and i let it sit when i lost my license, about two months, my girl went and started it for me, but shut it off after about a minute, i went back in fear, and sure enough couldnt get the damn thing to start. cranks really well with a brand new battery of about 3 months. Tried shooting some ether, no luck. doesnt even putt, just cranks strong, but wont fire.

manual i have had i for a year, and can not tell you when the plugs were last changed, or even looked at. i know enough to get by, but this one really got me ????? in circles.

 

exactly whats the best way to deflood, just to try it. i just started this account, so take it easy, i know that questions been posted/answered about a thousand times, but its not exactly the most user friendly site in the world. Would the deflood even work? and im a little afraid to try the 20 brake reset, just incase i dont need to.

 

best way is to push-start. Have a buddy push you, throw into 2nd and crank the engine
