Why do I have to replace plugs after flooding the car?

Why do I have to replace plugs after flooding the car?
Many people say you have to replace the plugs after you flood it because you fouled the plugs with fuel.
What I don't understand is.. if you manage to deflood the car and start it up without touching the plugs, will the natural combustion cycle not burn up whatever fuel that you have coated the plugs with?
Then, after some hard driving, wouldn't it for sure burn up whatever fuel you had sprayed onto the plugs?
I don't understand why the plugs need to be changed? They're not fouled anymore.
Can someone educate on this?

I don't have a renesis, but I do have a 13b in my FC. when it floods I reuse the same plugs unless they are the culprit of it not starting....
