What Octane Fuel Do You Use
Just curious, does anyone use regular unleaded (87) or mid-grade (89)? Does anyone notice a difference in performance and also gas mileage with using reular unleaded versus super. I read somewhere that regular unleaded will yield higher gas mileage.

salituro64, I think this poll is a good idea ......... I'd like to see the results ........
I'm using Shell 87 octane with no issues in all my 15k miles. Started using 87 since my second tank, so I cannot compare it to the more $$$$ stuff.

93 only here. I've never fed her the lower stuff. I figure with the way I drive (lot's of beeping) better safe then sorry. A bunch of the folks on here have gone to 87 with no problems.

I use 89 octane (have been for 20k miles now)because when I used 91 there was waaaay too much soot in the tailpipes and fuel mileage was about 2 mpg lower(93 was even worse). I tried 87, but the engine didn't sound right (sounded kinda hollow). My '8' loves 89, less soot, better fuel mileage and less cost.

I put major chain 87 in mine, mostly Citgo cuz its cheap here. 18.3k. No problems. Ive run a few recent tanks of 93 when I was conquering the dragon, but saw no big increase in power or responsiveness worth noting.
I usually average 20+mpg, up to 24-25.
