Just want to confirm, we can use the stock RX7 oil reg to increase the RX8 back to 100psi?
93-95 Rx7 Rear Oil Pressure Regulator...

It is also mandatory to put 2 washers in the front, the mazparts shows? (Some say 2, some say 3)

Search, there is thread about installing the Mazmart unit. No reason to use the RX-7 setup.

Regulators are interchangeable.....

The shims are to increase the blow off pressure on the front regulator so the higher pressure rear regulator doesn't make it blow open all the time

Well the RX7 reg is $15 dollars cheaper, so that's one reason.

Thanks Dan for the explanation. I just wanted to check from everything I read (and searched) that the RX7 reg will work, and I guess it's really spitting hairs between 2 or 3 shims up front.

If I recall the front reg blows off at a higher pressure anyway....so likely that difference is insignificant between 2 and 3
