Toyota maf in my rx8?!

I recently had my maf replaced and I just noticed they put in a Toyota maf. It says Toyota on it. I was wondering if I should be concerned. I have some hesitation while accelerating sometimes after the engine has ran a while. I think I have a vacuum leak but not sure.

Go back to wherever you had your maf replaced. Post a picture of it on here just in case they try to give you any bs.

nycgps doesn't exactly mince words lol

it does seem like the same par though..... A lot of japanese manufacturers have the same underlying suppliers for out-of-house parts like that (MAF, O2 sensors, etc)

Odds are it's actually made by Mitsubishi. A ton of components like that are manufactured by them and are used in all different types of makes and models.
