Taking the badges off??

Taking the badges off??

is their an easy way to take the Mazda badges off??/

do you have to repaint??

theirs threads but i really want to knoww

I'm sure there is a thread around that already has gone over this, but I will help you out.

Do you mean full debadging or just take them off to paint them? If you mean debadging then you will need to get the holes filled and repaint the trunk. There are 5 holes behind the 'Mazda' badge, and two holes behind the flying 'M'. And on the front bumper there is two holes, and yes they will need to be filled and the bumper repainted.

If your just taking them off to paint them then no.

thanks alot for the reply

i want to take the M and the Mazda out and put the rx8 where the M is

it will cost me alot if i take it to a body shop

any way i can do it myself and how big are the holes?

The holes are about 1/8". Not too big, usually a good body shop will weld the holes, sand and paint the area. Unless your good at body work I wouldn't imagine it being an easy tasks. I'm not sure on how much a body shop would charge, I would bet it will be more than 400 bucks.

no it shouldnt be.

damn it man i really want to take the badges off but dont want to paint the whole thing....
