stock exhaust ?????

stock exhaust ?????

have stock exhaust sold, but have to ship. has anyone removed the cat back pipe from the muffler itself....

yes i know it is keyed and have been able to get it to twist, just cant get it to move back.

I tried to separate them for storage purposes, and couldn't get it to budge. I'll admit I didn't put a lot of effort into it though.

no its not the key i can get past that. it is where the clamp tightens it down. it looks like the two pipes went togeter straight then the clamp went on and really compressed both.

if this is the case it really sucks royal.

When my exhaust tips were put onto the stock pipe, the muffler shop fellow cut off the muffler at that joint and later he welded it back on... I thought it can be taken apart by undoing that clamp but apparently that's not the case.
