NOOOOOOO
"Pre-mix" is 2-cycle oil, not motor oil. The type you would put in the gas of say a 2-cycle chainsaw or weedwacker.
Idemitsu is a specially formulated pre-mix oil for rotary engines, although there are other good 2-cycle oils out there.
4 to 8 oz of pre-mix per tankful is the norm.

not really understanding the ratio factor behind the premix like it should be done once you hit the gas station but like how much saber pro should i dump if im filling from half tank and so on teach me the math real quick?

And ive seen people talking about 600:1 or 250:1 where do those numbers come from ( im sorry i just don't understand i know its dumb questions but those other threads did more arguing than explaining and they were too long to read through)

My bad read it wrong lol but dang from what i read on another sight the lower the ratio the lower the compression because that means it needs more lube to keep the seals in good condition to maintain compression and if you have your original omp you really dont need anything less than 600 : 1 ( don't quote me i cant find the page anymore to link it ) or am I mis informed
For a street car with OMP half ounce per gallon is likely good
I run 80:1 on the track with no OMP
A street car you beat on the old standby 1 Oz per gallon would be about right

A U.S. gallon has 128 ounces, so that would be 128:1 ratio.....

Do you still have your original omp ? Isnt idemitsu more expensive ? Did you switch off the saber for performance reasons or just wanted to try something new just wondering i think i got the hang of the ratios so 15.9 gal = 2035 oz with 13 oz / 2035 oz = 156 /1 if im not mistaken would it be a good idea to just grab some of those red 5 gal jugs and have some pre mix ready in those instead of having to measure **** up at every fill up ?
Measuring it out really isn't hard. You buy the 1qt containers, keep at least one close to full in the trunk. Fill the car up, then math out how many oz you want to put in. There are graduations on the side of the container. Looks like I've got about 20 oz in it right now, I need to put 11oz in based on the 11 gal of fuel it took, so pour until the line goes about 1/5 of the way between the 10 and 5 mark. Not hard at all. Once that jug gets low, pour the remainder in the sohn reservoir, toss a fresh qt in the trunk and off you go.

Personally , I think the "steps needed before premix" are :
1/Increase OMP rate by 10%
2/grab bottle of premix
3/step towards bin
4/throw premix bottle in bin
5/Happily watch others waste their time and money.

I'm assuming you have an s2 motor with the third oil injector to get the middle of the apex seals? And based on that, you wouldn't have a sohn, so what are your views on the carbon deposits left behind when burning nothing but 4-stroke oil?
