What's with the MAF flow after the VDI opens at 7300?

Truemagellen and dannobre are right on the money!

At some point, the reported Mass Air Flow drops, even as the RPM is increasing!

See what sort of fantastic stuff you can use this product for :D

BTW - This vehicle has an aftermarket CAI. I'll decide to let the owner post that info. But I don't really owe anything to the company to protect their interests. After all, that is what this users forum is all about. Some of you can probably put 2 and 2 together.

BTW2 - What is one common "modification"when a CAI is installed ???? Truemagellan mentioned it.

Cheers,
Hymee.

However, you shouldn't be using the computer and driving at the same time should you? ... So set up a trigger to start recording at a certain speed or RPM.
Well... there is no menu is there

thanks for that... maybe I should push every single button there is. I may have a "S" flash installed to my PCM

The thing is...the VFAD which is removed opens at about 5500...it's the VDI that opens at 7300. What we need is a bigger intake manifold?. I guess that's going to be next :D

That is what a good tester does They try to break it. (PSST: Just like I broke CanScan (demo) on the very first time I used it )

Cheers,
Hymee.

Hymee I want to work the EXCEL graph like yours!

Please teach me... How can you adjust the other data series in different secondary axis when it is all in different scale of values.

How can you make the catalyst temp stay in the graph (as their value is 800+) and the MAF is in their 30-100s.

Well pointed out. This is generating some great discussion. Imagine when a bunch of you guys are out there logging stuff. I'll need to stand up a whole forum for sCANalyser users to compare notes!

Cheers,
Hymee.

I don't have that dip anymore.... I think I need to plot the data... I hope I did take MAF prior to do my Odula RAM.

Don't worry Hymee... I have worked out how you did it. You just add the Lambda x100 (how can you multiply figure in a group then??)

Yep, there's a menu... look at Tools menu - see Start Live F2 and Start Log F4?

Here's an in car shot of the prototype. I've got contrast right up for best daylight viewing so the colour is a little washed out.

Thanks... I know I'll need to support LHD and RHD -- flipping the position of the controls to suit is something I'll implement.

I don't remember if anyone addressed this..(this is a long thread)

Hymee showed me you could pick any skin, even carbon fiber.

Really cool.

snap-on's right... you can pick the colour for the background between the gauges or an image (which is tiled).

My display's native resolution is 800x480 and that's what I've used for the prototype. My VIA mobo doesn't support that yet (rumour is that there is a driver and bios update on the way that will support it). So I'm running 848x480 but I've tweaked the settings so the aspect ratio looks a bit better - basically I've stretched the picture as wide as it can go and centered the display.

I'll probably grab an ATI PCI video card if the drivers don't turn up soon so I can run at the native LCD resolution.

This is the Lambda value as reported by the Powertrain Control Module. If the PCM was giving a "false" reading, then I guess Mazda were not conforming to C.A.R.B. and ODBII requirements, hence breaking the law.

"Doesn't Jive" ?? Can you give me an example? Does it look like my graph doesn't jive? I would be interested to know how far out you believe your data is.

Cheers,
Hymee.

EDIT: Is your Cancan the French version? Hehehe
