Sneek Peak of new Hymee Enhanced Product
release candidate reporting: everything is AOK regarding my previous problem.
Only one MAJOR problem I have to warn you about....
There are so many functions that I don't know how to use them all :D

We're waiting on a sample from the latest batch of interfaces to arrive for testing... hopefully it will turn up by early next week. If it all tests OK, then we'll we right for a release.

Cheers,
Hymee.
I'm pretty confident they'll be fine... but I'm into crossing t's and dotting i's - last thing I want is for people to hand over their hard earned and for there to be a problem that could have been prevented.
We obviously have different ideas about marketing a product .
Announcing the development of a product too soon and then delaying it can be detrimental when its finally delivered .

Actually, by software standards, and despite my cracks, it's been pretty fast. Most developers tend not to maintain an informal dialogue of this type with their intended customer base. That may or may not be a good thing, but it certainly gave me, for one, confidence in the likely quality of the product and in the support given to it by its developers.

However had a play with the product on Hymee's laptop and it's pretty sweet!
We're RX-8 enthusiasts developing software for RX-8 enthusiasts. The reason for the dialogue was to understand what people wanted in a scan tool for their RX-8, so if we had time, we could include it. No-one's forcing anyone to hang around and wait for sCANalyser to ship.
We're very close to shipping, but there's lots of ducks to line up and some of them our outside of our direct control. We're definitely close - I can smell it

If you can figure it out, it would be lovely to see steering wheel position, yaw-sensor data, etc in the next release for those of us with DSC. Since it's all in the car already, it would be nice to analyze the nut behind the wheel (That's where the biggest gains can be made for the least money), not just the engine.
A bit of RX-8 CAN Bus hacking is on the agenda.. to see what we can find. If someone on the "inside" could give us some info on the Mazda's manufacturer specific data, that would really help.
Man you guys could launch the Shuttle with this by the time you are done
Any recommendations on the OEM Nav screen resolution yet? I will be adding electronics this year since I am about done with performance mods.

Well, I might have been kidding about that, howver the truth is that the company I work for had its foundings in real-time guidance control systems for the Apollo / Saturn V program. In fact I go the US home of rocketry tomorrow.
Cheers,
Hymee.
