There is no Santa Claus "list" that I know of. We have to wait until it is advertised for sale.

When we ship you the release candidate it would be good of you can try "big screen" again and let us know how you go. If it doesn't fix it then I'll definitely look you up.. for further investigation.

Personally I've tried it on MANY resolutions on now 4 computers...3 laptops and a PC...I've run it at the resolution Taka speaks of and no problems (on a Sony Vaio)...this might be a setting on your pc that is off (Taka if I could stop by and help you I would :p ) since the way the program is setup right now it seems to adapt to all the resolutions...

what version of windows are you running? iif it is not XP it is possible you have a window restriction setup and not even know (sometimes running certain programs will mess with these settings). Email or PM me more details maybe I can help you out?

A while back someone (snapon?) asked for a list of the supported PIDs - here are the supported PIDs for the powertrain diagnostic information:

The list below contains the PID in decimal, in hex (in the format in J1979) and the name given to it in sCANalyser

3 $03 FuelSystemStatus
4 $04 LoadCalculated
5 $05 CoolantTemp
6 $06 ShortTermFuelTrim1
7 $07 LongTermFuelTrim1
12 $0C EngineRPM
13 $0D VehicleSpeed
14 $0E TimingAdvance
15 $0F IntakeAirTemp
16 $10 MAF
17 $11 ThrottleAbsolute
18 $12 AirStatus
21 $15 O2_1_2
31 $1F TimeSinceStart
33 $21 DistanceSinceMIL
46 $2E EvapPct
47 $2F FuelLevel
48 $30 WarmUpsSinceDTCClear
49 $31 DistanceSinceDTClear
51 $33 Barometer
52 $34 WideRangeO2_1
60 $3C CatalystTemp_1_1
66 $42 Voltage
67 $43 LoadAbsolute
68 $44 AFRTarget
69 $45 ThrottleRelative
71 $47 ThrottleAbsolute_B
73 $49 AcceleratorPedal_D
74 $50 AcceleratorPedal_E
76 $52 ThrottlePct

It sounds like there are some manufacturer specific ones that WDS can access - they're not currently supported but if we can find out the necessary information we will add them in to a future release.

I guess I should post screen shots of each tab. Then that would be the start of the "on-line" user manual. :D

Cheers,
Hymee.

Does the actual OBD connector have a 90 degree bend so that it does not place the wire straight down? Or is it the same as the Harrison units?

good question actually...90 degree...does not interfere with driving especially if you use zip ties to keep the cable under the dash :D

Plus the actual plug is lower profile from memory. The hardware interface is quite a bit smaller in dimensions as well.

Cheers,
Hymee.

it does not interfere with driving is true in a certain degree. Yes it is 90 degree but there is still a cord there.

The cord is thick but you can tuck it along the dash. If you have only USB port in your notebook. The whole things is a mile long :p You see I have the OBD connecter (1m) to the sCANalyser converter (10cm) to the 9pin (1m) to the USB converter (1m).

I am not criticising anything but it is how I found it long enough to annoy me, and I suspect it is the same in any unit. Unless there someone (or Hymee) can figure out how to shorten my cord. I am thinking any USB converter have a different 9 pin head so it can directly plug in to the sCANaalyser converter.

longer is better since it gives you the option to send it to the trunk for a carputer or even better if you are dynoing the car and you have a computer outside of the car it can reach it heavy, high quality cables like the one that comes with Hymee's sCANalyser are expensive...I'm glad he includes a long one so I don't have to buy one :D

I just cut the release candidate and we're testing it... it'll be in the hands of beta testers very soon. We're organising the first batch of hardware and now it's time to finish the web site and manual.

One thing sco. I tried the gender converter but it does not work. You see I try to shorten the 9 pin to 9 pin female cord. It does not work with a thin converter

Taka, the grey 9pin to 9pin serial cable is a "null modem" type - there is a crossover of wires between the two connectors so a standard gender bender won't work unfortunately.
