the problem with cutting the side seal that way is you are grinding it with a flat surface when it fits up to a round surface, which means you only have a tight clearance over an extremely small point rather than the entire sealing surface area

I've seen plenty of people grind it out on a flat surface, through a wheel or sandpaper and it turns out fine. so long as you get the angle right it shouldn't be an issue.

But ya never know!!

The engine sounds much healthier this time around, it almost starts when the gas pedal is down which to me seems like its getting a **** ton of fuel that it doesn't need and is flooding.

I thought about that and you can watch the RB video with his little jig...I think.

but if you look at the angle on the manufactured side it does not conform to the corner seal....just saying

Good advice. But he should be able to catch it quick now that he know the Coolant Temperature Sensor is good. That was weird deal, I have never heard of a brand new Coolant sensor being bad.

baby starts right up now,it just needed me to calm down and forget about work

something is definetaly routed incorrectly with the coolant lines, all the restrictors are there though....hmmmm

If you went from the front to the fitting on the rear of the block it should be fine.
