Does anybody know where I can get a workshop manual in paper or cd for the 2004 RX8. I'm sure that I could order one from the dealer but I have to believe that there is some other source where I can get one inexpensively. I have checked on Ebay and they appear occasionally. I haven't been able to find a site on the web which sells them and that's hard for me to believe. Thanks.

 

check the DIY area, there is a link for online PDF version, but it is not as complete and thorough as the paper manual from Mazda

otherwise you have to buy it direct from Mazda or from someone else who already has obtained one, you can order one from any Mazda dealership parts counter

Thanks Guys. I found a workshop manual on Ebay but now I see that there is a separate manual for the engine. The service manual has all of the trouble codes and troubleshooting procedures but if you want to understand how the engine comes apart and the associated tolerances you need the Engine manual. Anyone know where I can get one of those on the net.

 

there is the main workshop manual and two detailed supplementals; one for the engine and one for the transmission

just buy the supplementals from the dealer, they are not very expensive

BTW, can you possibly PM me the email addy for the guy from eBay, I don't subscribe to that service but would like to contact him for something else

 

Go to google and search for the rx8 manual. I found it online in a pdf format.

 

I have one made up of a bunch of PDFs, but its pretty large even zipped and I'm not sure how to post it here.

 

I already posted the pdf link above, but all the pdf manuals I've seen are not as complete as the real mccoy

also, if you are racing some of the sanctioning bodys require you to have the real manual
