I believe the oil injectors need a 19mm socket to remove them. Do not overtighten them when you reinstall them.

Thank you very much guys. I prefer to be more cautious than sorry for having removed something I should have not.

Do you have the torque specs?

9krpmrx8: Again thank you very much. You've been of great help. I've managed to dismount everything without too much problem apart for the two bolts near the firewall. Would you happen to have the torque specs for the upper intake manifold as well as the two bolts that hold the oil filler piece? I would not like to screw up with all my new gaskets.

For other readers who may experience similar problems as mine, here are my finding.
I believe that none of the hoses were the issue. According to your first picture, where you can see three yellow connectors, under those connectors, a bit deeper, there is some sort of a cavity formed in between the engine and the lower intake manifold. This is where there was plenty of oil. At this point, I'm assuming this is the results of a messy oil change where the guy must have dropped oil beside the filler.

As information for whomever might be interested.

To install:

- Oil filler pipe torque the bolts to 79-112 inch lbs. (9-13 Nm)
- Lower extension manifold torque the bolts to 79-112 inch lbs. (9-13 Nm)
- Upper extension manifold torque the bolts to 69-96 inch lbs. (8-11 Nm)
- Throttle body torque the bolts to 69-96 inch lbs. (8-11 Nm)
