Castrol GTX 20W50 Vs 5W30

Just wanted to post pics of my oil findings. So far I have 12K miles on the reman. I have been using 5W30 from the start. First Picture is my 3rd Oil change with 5W30 and the Second Picture is the 4th Oil Change with 20W50 And the Third Picture is a clean greddy magnetic oil drain plug. I'm glad I switched to 20W50 and it's staying that way for now on. And yes all that is metal

dont forget that the presence of metals (or lack thereof) isn't the only thing that judges the quality of oil. Especially on these engines, water/coolant, and fuel contamination is something that would also be good information to have.

I'm Gonna use Conventional oil, And hopefully super soon i can get my SOHN adapter and run Synthetic oil and 2 stroke oil in the secondary reservoir. Had a friend tell me that Mobil 1 and other store bought oil Isn't "True" synthetic besides Royal Purple and other small companies. O.o
