people say they lose HP when...
I had the revi w/duct and switched to the k&n T. No lost of power noticed! I am usally moving when using my power so the air is always flowing. What I found intresting was with the revi my check light would not go on(I have a gutted cat) and once switching to the ty-foon my cel stays on. Maybe it flows better?
honestly, I'm not losing hp
What fantasy physics allows you to cut holes in the air filter housing, letting air in at about 100 degrees hotter than stock, without losing power?
Seriously, I'm keen to hear the rationalizations........

Has any one reviewed the HKS intake i hear alot about aem h&n and the racing beat one but nothing about the HKS one I was talking with the guys from JRPonline and they said its the best but is also the most expensive. i am not realy worried about the price but performance i do.
hks intake looks pretty good, not that many people have it because its probably the most expensive one.
ahh, u remind me of hks, i might as well get it, so i can do a reviw of it

DIY k&n (ziiing!)
no but seriously... i hope you're joking. that doesn't even look good. did you cut it with a butter knife or what?
might as well have just removed the box all together.
I think I've verified this to be false. the walls do 'almost' nothing for sound
removing vFAD however is pretty loud. louder than revi, quieter than AEM.
