Oil dipstick quantity range
After searching around, I have a rough idea of how much the distance represents from low mark to high mark on the dipstick, but nothing actually definitive. Does anyone know what the actual quantity difference is between the two marks?

Why couldn't they just make it 2 quarts. How the heck are we suppose to estimate what .8 of a quart is? It bad enough the dipstick is harder to reach then that itch on my back.

Blame the US measurement system. 1.8 US quarts is almost exactly 1.5 imperial quarts or 3.0 imperial pints. :p

Most of the oil containers are marked in ounces. 0.8 quarts is between 25 and 26 ounces. Simple.
