Hello There,

Does anyone have first hand experience with the new ventilation system for the RX8? It's the fix that is supposed to prevent milkly substance from forming on the oil dip stick. It's also supposed to prevent oil from going into your air filter.

I know a lot of people have used the oil catch cans.

I was just wondering if anybody has had Mazda install there kit and if so what has been there findings? Has the oil in the air filter stopped?

 

I had it installed about 8 months ago. It seems to have stopped the condensation problem.....

No oil on the filter since....

 

Had it installed at the end of March—no more milky oil on the dipstick (for the remaining few days when it got really cold).
