Wow, that's a lot. I think I paid something like $13 to ship 2 gallons within the US.

 

Well I have been having white smoke issues and so this weekend on my road trip I did not premix and the smoke is completely gone so it must be from the premix.

 

This doesn't happen to me with Idemitsu at 1/2oz per gal. How much were you using and what did you use?

 

I am running 5oz of Pennzoil TC3W Synthetic. I am still running with no premix and the smoke is still gone. When I fill up I'm gonna drop down to like 4oz. I wanna use this up and by then I should have idemitsu.

 

The smoke might be from the Marine Boat oil you are using to premix?

 

Yeah well I'm not running a cat so synthetic 2 stroke should be fine.

Oh, I have been lurking the RX-7 boards and others and I keep second guessing everything. I don't wanna run the idemitsu and have the same smoking issues so I'm trying to track down a quart to try locally before I buy a whole case.

 

I have resonantly installed the agency power cat-back and duel resonated mid-pipe.

I got no smoke with the Valvoline stuff I posted earlier. I just filled up with idemitsu don't think I have gone 20 miles yet but I doubt it will smoke either.

 

Yeah the smoke worries me a lil'.

 

I honestly wouldn't put much stock in anything you find on RX7 boards. There's a LOT of mis-information around those cars.

I've ran the Idemitsu pre-mix for over 40,000 miles on my motor and can't speak of any negative effects. That's also with using the stock fuel pump which I just changed at 82,000 miles.

Idemitsu stuff tends to burn a lot cleaner and not smoke.

 

I gotta get a quart to try.

 

I just purchased a case from Mazdatrix today and it looked like a case was going for about $67 before shipping. Probably $80 after you figure in shipping.

You can order by the quart from them. Just get a couple. If you don't like it or otehrwise decide against it I'm sure a local 8 owner will buy it from you.

yeah my invoice cam out to 82.XX for a case, and each bottle has 32 OZ!!!

 

I got my Indemitsu shipment last week along with my FP+.

I also got two 16oz bottles to store them in.

Now I'm looking for disposable funnels..........
