my 8 won't run right and the engine is humming while off HELP

so this morning I woke up turned on my cat an let I idol cause it's cold here in ny and went in to my house to get ready. I came back to the car 15 mins later and the pitch of my car sounded different, especially when I reved it. I didn't think much of it till I saw the engine light blinking. Usually it stays on cause of my agencypower exhiast but this time it was blinking. I tried getting out my parking spot and after moving 5 ft it stalled out. I turned the car back on but the engine died on me in seconds. Now 2 hours later, same thing. It startedand stayed on but again after stalling out trying to move it the engine gave up again after turning it back on. I opened the hood and there's a humming constant beeeeeeeeeep sound. What is wrong with this? I was driving fine all last night. Help please

sounds like your coils/plugs might be shot.

the humming sound is probably because you left the key in the 'ON' position when you opened the hood.. or the fans

Stop leaving your car idling for so long - that is the absolute worst way to warm up your engine .

I would say your plugs or coils are going down the *******. They aren't sparking the fuel enough, so when you are going to drive, the backfire is caused from the more gas flying into the exhaust. Get those replaced, and you shouldn't have this happen again.

If you're serious about it being fine after driving...uhh...bad gas?

After you replace the coils and plugs............Listen to Brettus. You should let it idle about 30 seconds at MOST and that's plenty. I know you went back inside because it was cold, but that's just too damn long. Will most likely do more harm than good to the CAT. Just keep the rpm's under about 3500 until it's fully warmed up.
