Misfire caused by bad/clogged injectors?

I have an 04 rx8 and have covered pretty much everything in the misfire sticky:
Installed BHR coils/new wires/new plugs.
Had the MAF sensor cleaned.
Installed new ESS.
Installed new OEM cat.
Rebuilt engine.

Tho, I haven't made any changes to the fuel system.
Can bad or clogged injectors cause a misfire(flashing cel)?

It takes a correct mixture ignited at the correct time to have proper combustion. So a big yes 😁

Although ignition Issues are a much more common problem with this engine

Injector issues will usually show up with fuel trim issues and CEL's that reflect that
