    Yes. One day at work, it wouldn't start and I had to get it towed.
    I found that one of the water seals was bad and the front rotor housing had a couple of grooves in it that was causing low compression.
    Before you take it apart, do a compression test and record the numbers. There are some good videos on youtube that show how to disassemble and reassemble the rotary--it's not that hard, just take your time and stay organized. I followed rotaryresurrections diy on removing the engine--went without a hitch.
    When you take the engine apart, examine all the hard seals(apex/side/corner) for wear and damage. Replace what's necessary. Replace the water seals no matter what. If your housings are not smooth, then send them to Goopy Performance. They're alot cheaper than buying new--even cheaper than buying used. And they bring the compression back up to close to stock.

    hey freq so was your engine failing or you just want it to rebuild? my engine back rotor has no compression and im thinking of taking it apart my self with a friend that has a little experience with rotary and rebuilding it. but dont know what to buy what did you find in yours ? any info will be appreciated
