Life time warranty on ignition coils

For the most part I give the customer the benefit of the doubt. Other times I have honda guys who try to warranty distributors, and I quickly realize they are bringing in a different part from another car or for one of their friends.
And, 9krpmrx8, by ethics I really only meant what I could but wouldn't do for myself while on the job.
Like any other corp, it's not the guy in the store dictating pricing. It's the analysts up above and being honest our prices are right on par, if not better, than most autoparts stores. We're not ebay or a flee market, after all.

All the stores are the same for the most part but i do like Advanced best. But sometimes one has something the other does not so usually I end up shopping at all of them if I need something.

I have an Advanced Auto down the street from me and the guys in there have always been helpful and know what they got. I stay away from Auto Zone if I can help it.

The 3 Autozones around me are loaded with rude people. something to do with minimum wage I guess? at 7.15 an hour I can't expect too much "customer service" can I ?
I almost always go Advance Auto even tho its like 15 miles away from where I live. people are more friendly and "willing" to find parts for me.

This is a good deal if you want factory type coils.
But my problem with OEM type coils is that if they are going out it can ruin your cat and possibly your engine. By the time you realize it, the damage may be done. We just installed the BHR kit in grungepup's car a couple of weeks ago and three of his factory coils had huge white spots on them and they were only 20,000 miles old.
I went through three sets of factory coils before installing the BHR kit at 96,000 and all of the failed coils (tested at dealer) had white spots on them as well. For me it wasn't totally a big deal since I had an extended bumper to bumper warranty that covered them but it was still a hassle. I am not aware of any BHR coils ever failing.
