sorry I missed the non-Mazda part. I doubt it is possible.

according to that thread, the above FCC id's are the Only ones that will work. Your aftermarket thingy will have to be able to spoof either of those, or you'll be SOL.

If you have success, please post.


ps. You don't give the year of your RX-8. If you are talking about replacing the advanced keyless entry (credit card), then I can assure you that you are indeed SOL.
