jumping wires to make fuel pump run on high and low mode?

I just finished up my return fuel system. Is there a way to pressurize the system without starting the car to check for leaks? Also is there a way to put the pump into low and high mode to check pressures of each?

think you can cross the wires to achieve this no problem - don't ask me which ...

From what I have read/ heard the car do, with the ignition its only a few seconds the pump is on, that would not work to show pressure because of the return. I could be wrong. I seen about crossing wires but still not sure which either

The pressure should stay up after the key is turned on...if the regulator is working properly it will bleed down slowly. There is a spec for this in the FSM.....

You can easily "jump the pump" with a section of wire on the fuel pump test plug in the fuse box ( I think there is one there )

right now i have the screw on top of the regulator backed all the way out. I really did not have a ton of time to mess with this part.

Can't you also unplug the resister and jump the plug to force high speed mode?
