I was worried about loudness too before I took off my muffler. It's not bad and not too loud. I just put a straightpipe in. Did some research before that and found that if you put straightpipe less that 3.5 or 3.25 don't remember which one exactly, it will be good. Anything over that will be too loud. But then a gain, the straightpipe that fits the 8 is a 3.5 or 3.25 so just put the right size on there and you'll be fine. I actually love yhe sound. Especially when you let go off gas and the rpms go down, that sound is just beautiful. It really depends on an individual but for me it's not too loud, I've heard louder.

 

Oh wait, it's not 3.5 it's 2.25. Sorry lol

 

I did it yesterday its pretty Damm loud but it's not that's bad it's way deeper

 

people who like attention and aren't concerned for their hearing never think it's too loud, just a sayin' ...

 

I finished my muffler delete last night, my car is much, much louder. I also have a magnaflow hi-flow cat. The car is loud, sounds extremely mean, and gets a lot of attention... Well worth it in my opinion...
